The first ever JazzCon.tech conference was held March 21-24th, right in the middle of New Orleans. After all, where else would you host an event called JazzCon?
The good folks at Appcelerator were kind enough to sponsor me to travel and speak about building native mobile apps with JavaScript and Appcelerator. You can check out the slides below, and the session notes here.
Speaking
Speaking at JazzCon was great. The conference organizers, Pratik and Vince are awesome and really do a lot to make speakers feel at home. They also run great conferences in the Atlanta area, Connect.tech and DevNexus. I’ve gone to Connect.tech as both an attendee and speaker, and it is a lot of fun.
If you are interested in getting into speaking about your tech experiences, you should! Connect.tech is a great opportunity for speakers of all experience levels, and the Call for Proposals is open until April 30th.

If the photos below look like all we are doing is eating, drinking, and sight-seeing, I assure you we were getting in some excellent sessions in as well!
