Back in May of 2009, Gretchen and I were flying back to Mexico City from the U.S., when I ran across a newspaper article on the plane about an upcoming wine and cheese festival in Mexico. It was being held the following weeking in Tequisquiapan, Mexico, a town about an hour and a half's bus ride north of Mexico City that was noted for their vineries and, I suppose, cheese-making places.

Nice photos...can you tell me the name of the hotel you stayed at?

Hi Ruth,

We stayed at the Hotel Mision San Gil, which is about a 25 minute drive outside of Tequis. It was nice, just a little far from Tequis, so we had to take taxis back and forth. We actually stayed there because everything in Tequis was booked up for the festival.
